In 2022, we came up with the idea of developing a straightforward sensor and software for cold chain monitoring—designed for ease of use and seamless integration with existing systems. This disruptive solution was set to revolutionize the industry. It was now up to Cold Chain Control to refine the concept while maintaining its simplicity.

I am deeply committed to growing Cold Chain Control, a startup that represents the highlight of my passion for disruptive technologies and my diverse experience in robotics, mechatronics, and digitalization/serialization. As a co-founder of Penta Robotics, I explored the power of automation and intelligent systems, which was further strengthened at Bosch Rexroth, where I gained an even deeper understanding of the synergy between mechanical systems and electronics.

During my recent work with connected products at L4 serialization mSaaS provider Kezzler, my fascination with how cutting-edge technology can streamline complex processes grew. This gradually expanded into a broader interest in integrating hardware and software to simplify and innovate traditional systems, sparked by my desire to become an entrepreneur once again.

Founding Cold Chain Control feels like a natural step in my life. I am eager to drive innovation in the cold chain industry, ensuring our solutions not only address current challenges but also anticipate and exceed future demands, such as the growing need for personalized medicine. The opportunity to revolutionize cold chain monitoring and play a vital role in an industry crucial to global supply chains is incredibly exciting to me.

My professional track-record covers many years in leadership roles that have enhanced my expertise in supply chain transparency and traceability. My career includes positions such as COO at fTRACE (a subsidiary of GS1 Germany) and as a member of the management team at GS1 Germany. GS1 is a not-for-profit organization that develops and maintains global standards for business communication, the best known of which is the barcode, a symbol printed on products that can be scanned electronically.

This background has equipped me to lead the development and successful market launch of innovative SaaS solutions and ecosystems, focused on enhancing collaborative trust among the companies that adopt them. My global network has been instrumental in introducing these innovations to key decision-makers worldwide.

As my fascination with cutting-edge technology intensified, I recognized an opportunity to dive deeper into the rapidly growing field of IoT, specifically within cold chain. This led me to Cold Chain Control, where I am currently leveraging my skills to tackle the increasing needs for temperature-sensitive deliveries, including biopharmaceuticals and high-value food items, at the individual item level.
